Call for Partners ¨ReTo Protect¨ Youth in Action, Action 1.1

The non profit association named Centro Intercultural Ideas de Colores (CIIC) has the pleasure to invite you to join a youth exchange project that will be submitted on the 1st February 2012.

Overall Objective

ReTo Protect- Repair – teach – protect is a youth exchange project that promotes active citizenship through environmental issues. Participants will develop skills in bicycle repair and become more cognizant of importance of road safety.

Date of activity: 10 to 18 May 2012
Place: Las Palmas, Gran Canaria

Specific Objectives

  • promotion of cultural diversity through working on a common theme of road safety
  • targeting disadvantage youth by giving them opportunity to gain practical skills and enhancing entreprenerial possibilities for the future
  • educating participants on enivormental issues through recycling and “green” mobility

We’re looking for: partners from EU and program countries

Number of participants: 7-8 participants per partner country

Who can participate?

  • people from 17 till 25 years old (preferences will be given to youngsters from 17 to 19 years old)
  • target group is early school leavers from disadvanteged areas

Participants will be reimbursed %70 of their travel expenses.
Accommodation and food %100 covered
